Intuit Small Business Employment Index Shows Continued Growth in Hiring for March – Yahoo! Finance

Source: finance.yahoo.com
Ahh, so that’s how that data gets used:
The Intuit Small
Business Employment Index is based on aggregate and anonymous
online
employment data from approximately 50,000 small business employers
with
fewer than 20 employees who use Intuit

Online Payroll. These smallest employers comprise 87 percent
of the
total U.S. private employer base. Intuit reports data for three
categories: small business employment, compensation and hours
worked.
Intuit will analyze and publish the data at the beginning of each
month.
As new data arrive, the Index numbers may slightly be revised, as
with
government data.

Source: foresttalk.com

To pay for the bill, it would prohibit paper makers such as International Paper Co. from claiming a $1.01 tax credit for producing fuel from a type of pulp-making byproduct called black liquor to save $24 billion over a decad. While International Paper and other forest product companies said they weren’t seeking the credit, the IRS determined they might be eligible.

I saw this on 60 Minutes yesterday and combined with the recent holes discovered in TLS and WinCrypto this year, I am *VERY* worried that hackers have already used these to gain control over any system they want. Our entire World depends on HTTPS privacy and there is a good chance it’s no longer safe!
